jaws and web sites

So I'm running Jaws 9 with XP Pro. Every time I try opening a web site with a rather large amount of data, my Jaws would take like forever to read info, for example like when I arrow down, it can take anything from a few seconds, up to forever, for jaws to read what's displayed.
In some instances, I had to reboot the machine completely because the whole system seem to have frozen.

Any ideas on how to resolve this crap would be very welcome.

Thanks

Q

How much Ram does the computer have? The only reason I ask is because my old computer used to do that, and it had 512 MB of Ram.

Try turning off screen track virtual curser. Sometimes that can help a little. You can do it temporarily in verbosity settings or permanently in configuration manager. I want to say it's under html options, but don't count on it.
